It was quite an amazing afternoon and probably the highlight of my trip. I got to assist Dr. Steve Slezak in a strabismus surgery on a 12 year old girl named Rosa. It was amazing to see how much Rosa, her family and the whole community appreciated us operating on her. Her first eye took quite a bit longer than we expected, but we learned pretty quickly and the second eye went very smoothly. I can't tell you how much I just wanted to have been done with medical school so that I could have done so much more for all the people that came to see us. I am very thankful to God that he allowed me to be a part of this trip! -Jeremy Olson

Rosa looks so beautiful and adorable - Thanks for the photos and story! I can't wait to talk to my Dad tonight to get the full lowdown. Great job team, and yet another "Yea God" moment!!!
