Packing!

The final team meeting was held Sunday at Woodlands Church after the team was comissioned at services at the participants' respective churches. The team enjoyed eating pizza together, going over final details and "learning" Open the Eyes of Our Hearts in Spanish. (Thanks Ryan!)
Following the food and singing the team moved into the chapel to work on packing the action packers for the trip. Each team member will be responsible to shepherd one packer through the airport.
Here'sthe way Phil Neff described the action in the Costa Rica blog (http://www.costaricamedicalmission09.blogspot.com/):
Today was a packing day for the first team from Woodlands heading out next Friday for Sumpango Guatamala. Twenty bodies, two dozen totes and lots of controlled chaos. Derek Leonard had an awesome plan for keeping things organized, and with many hands the meds were quickly organized and packed. Matt Kolling was the weigh master making sure the totes stayed under 50 lbs. Todd Faulks kept track of the weight information as we added and subtracted items to max out weight and volume. It was great to have the practice at getting the totes packed for such a large group. It will make the next loading for our trip to Costa Rica a bit easier.I am excited about going and what God will do thru us for the people in Alaguela, Costa Rica.
Phil
The team next gathers at 6:00 PM Friday night at the church to board the bus for Chicago and the airport!
